AmSafe hosts open house and blood drive at Phoenix facility

Amsafe, Inc, a leading manufacturer of seat belts and airbags for the aviation industry, hosted an open house and blood drive at their Phoenix facility on Feb 3, 2024. The event was open to the public and attracted visitors, employees, family, and friends who wanted to learn more about the company and its products.

The open house featured games and a bounce house for the kids, as well as tours of the offices, factory and test facility. Visitors had the opportunity to see how Amsafe designs, produces and tests its seat belts and airbags, which are used by major airlines and aircraft manufacturers around the world. Amsafe also showcased some of its latest innovations and equipment.

The blood drive was organized in partnership with Vitalant, a nonprofit organization that provides blood and blood products to hospitals and patients in need. Amsafe employees and visitors donated blood at a mobile unit parked outside the facility. The event saw over 30 AmSafe participants donate blood.

Amsafe’s Human Resources Manager, Lisa Era, said that the open house and blood drive were part of the company’s commitment to giving back to the community and raising awareness about the importance of blood donation. She thanks all the visitors and donors for their support and interest in Amsafe.

“We are proud to share our passion for safety and innovation with the public, and we are grateful for the generosity of our donors who helped us make a difference in the lives of others. We hope that this event will inspire more people to donate blood and join us in our mission of saving lives,” Era said.
