X-Net Vehicle Arresting System

The X-Net vehicle arresting system is designed to halt vehicles within the distance of an emergency stop.

AmSafe Bridport is the manufacturing partner for QinetiQ's X-Net® vehicle arresting system. This system is made of lightweight Dyneema® high-performance fiber and can be deployed in seconds, halting and causing minimal damage to target vehicles. The portable system features a barbed spike on the leading edge of an arresting net. The spike pierces the target's front tires, and the net becomes tangled in the front wheels to be pulled under the vehicle, stopping the wheels and bringing the vehicle to a halt.

The X-net enhances law enforcement efforts and military maneuvers by providing personnel with the ability to stop a variety of moving vehicles.
