Sennheiser
A new experience in aviation communications - Sennheiser's Sound of Silence. Supplementing the passive noise attenuation of headphones, Sennheiser has developed NoiseGard™, an active compensation system that provides clear communications and effective suppression of the noise stress factor vital to concentration in the cockpit.

• Designed to reduce noise levels in the loudest cockpits, Closed NoiseGard™ systems, a closed headphone that provides passive noise attenuation, are recommended for use in helicopters, turboprops, military aircraft, and many small general aviation aircraft. The combination of active and passive compensation reduces the noise level by more than 25 dB, even in the low-frequency range.
• Open NoiseGard™-systems compensate the noise level up to 10 dB throughout the typical noise spectrum (400 to 1,000 Hz) of a business or passenger jet aircraft. The ambient noise reduction allows the ATC signal to be heard reliably at a lower volume level. The open form does not limit general aural perception, allowing speech to be heard virtually unaffected. The lightweight design of open systems enhances comfort and is ideal for long-haul flights. With or without NoiseGard™, Sennheiser's range of professional headsets combine safety and reliability with superb comfort.

• Manufacturer's certificate of conformity for standard parts
