9g Barrier & Bulk-hold Nets

9g Barrier & Bulk-hold Nets

The world’s leading provider of payload restraints.

From initial concept and engineering design to the certification of the  finished product, AmSafe provides barrier nets, semi-rigid barriers and rigid barriers to major aircraft manufacturers and converted freighters.

9g Main Deck Barrier Nets
AmSafe 9g main deck barrier nets are specified as original equipment on numerous commercial aviation aircraft, from new-build to converted freighters providing the required separation between crew and cargo.

The unique design of the AmSafe barrier net allows it to withstand an extreme deceleration. In the event of an intense forward motion, the AmSafe 9g barrier net allows the load to be evenly distributed across the net. This transfer of weight across the entire structure ensures that cargo will not penetrate through the net and enter the crew and/or cockpit area, located on the opposite side of the barrier. When compared to a rigid bulkhead structure, the AmSafe 9g main deck barrier net provides a lightweight solution for separating crew and cargo.

Baggage and Bulk-hold Nets
AmSafe baggage and bulk-hold restraints are specified as original equipment on numerous commercial and regional aircraft, including Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier Aerospace, British Aerospace, Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC), Embraer, Saab, and Sukhoi commercial aircraft.

AmSafe nets are used in the belly-hold and cabin sections of the aircraft to prevent baggage and other bulk payloads from moving during flight. The nets are easy to remove for loading and unloading cargo and baggage, and are designed to withstand the demands of cargo operations. AmSafe baggage and bulk-hold nets are manufactured using superior-quality webbing and interface components, and all materials comply with FAR/JAR 25.603.
