AmSafe Bridport is the world leader in the design, manufacture and support of engineered aerospace textile solutions for the commercial aviation and defense industries. Although Bridport only began designing and manufacturing nets for the aviation industry in the early 1960s, its heritage in rope and net production can be traced back to the 13th century, occupying the same site in Bridport, Dorset, UK since 1665. By 1965 AmSafe Bridport was the largest net manufacturer in Europe, supplying twine, ropes and nets for a multitude of end uses worldwide. Business in the aviation industry began in the mid 1960's and was consolidated into a single aviation and defense company in 1979.

Since then, AmSafe Bridport has grown to become a world leader in the design, manufacture and support of a wide range of textile products for the civil aviation and defense markets. Currently operating manufacturing sites in the UK, USA and Sri Lanka, with military services in Ringwood and commercial in Gatwick, AmSafe Bridport can provide the best solution for your cargo restraint, military and commercial requirements.
